Q: Do you teach surf lessons? Can you help me book one?
A: Yes we do. Visit our website to book and use our online calendar to see availability. Easy.
Q: Do you have any lessons available today?
A: No, we don't offer drop-in lessons. All of our surf lessons are booked at least 12 hours in advance through our website calendar.
Q: Do you offer ding repair services?
A: Yes we do. 2 Mile is the drop off and pick up location for our in-house repair specialist. His prices are very fair and reasonable and turnaround time is usually 10 - 14 days.
Q: Can you tell me how the surf is?
A: Read our daily surf report which is posted every morning before the shop opens.
Q: Can I reserve boards and wetsuits?
A: No. All of our rental gear is on a first come / first served basis. No reservations.
Q: What if I pay in advance for gear reservation?
A: No. See above.
Q: Do you sell wetsuits?
A: Yes we do. We have a large selection of new wetsuits at all price points. We also sell all of our used / rental suits at the end of summer in late September.
Q: Do you sell used surfboards?
A: Yes we do. We have a large selection of used surfboards in the shop at all times. Come by to visit, look, touch, feel and find something that works for you.

Q: What is the best time to come surfing in Bolinas?
A: Both spots operate differently and are effected by tides, wind, swell and other factors that are constantly changing. There is no set "good" time to come surf.
Q: What is the surf like now? Can you go down and check for me?
A: Unfortunately not. Once we are open for business we are too busy to leave the shop. We do however post a daily surf report each morning which has lots of good info.
Q: What does inside out mean?
A: With the inner surface turned outward. In a state often involving drastic reorganization.
Q: Do you have any comfortable pants for sale?
A: Not at this time but we are considering it.
Q: Do you sell candles?
A: No, we try to keep it 100% surf related items and not branch out too far.
Q: Do you have 5 ounce fishing weights?
A: No. We are a surf shop and do not carry tackle or licenses.
Q: What is the definition of inside out?
A: In such a manner that the inner surface becomes the outer. Into a state of disarray often involving drastic reorganization.
