We have beautiful, sunny, clear blue skies with mild temps. and light off-shore winds. An overall very nice morning to start the weekend.

Small SSW swell and NW wind swell producing smooth but small waves in the knee to thigh high range. There is surf at the Patch and in the Channel and there are surfers on longboards at both spots. Looks fun overall but still small and smooth. A good beach day and there are waves to be ridden.

We have clear blue skies with sun and mild off-shore winds. Mild temps. in the mid 50s.

We currently have clear conditions with light off-shore winds. Mild temps. and partially sunny skies. At least it is not foggy or raining and it is relatively nice out.

Small SSW swell producing smooth but small waves in the knee to thigh high range. There is surf at the Patch inside of the rock with a few longboarders on it. The Channel is knee high and rideable as well. Bring a longboard to have the most fun.

Good morning. Cloudy skies out here this morning and I felt a few raindrops on the way to the shop. I see breaks with blue sky, so it is possible that it clears? Air temperature low to mid 50s.

Surf: Small S/SW at a few feet. Side shore breeze. Smooth seas. Patch and channel both look like they are averaging 1-2 ft. waves. Bring your longest board. Great beginner day.

Happy Tuesday. Much nicer day today. Fog and drizzle clearing out and we have warmer temps with calmer seas.

Surf: Small S/SW at a few feet. Side shore breeze with the wind picking up as that fog moves out. The patch was mostly in the knee high range with a few sets at waist high. There were SUPs and longboarders out there this morning. The channel was less promising with flat to half foot waves close to shore. I'll update as the tide fills in this afternoon with any changes. Bring your longest board. Great beginner day.

Good morning. Not looking too pretty out here this afternoon. It is dark, cloudy and raining. The side/onshore wind is blowing hard around 15-20 mph. With the bad weather I may close early so call first (415-868-0264) to make sure I'm in...thanks!

Surf: Super stormy looking seas this morning. No organization at all, just choppy waves all over the place. The S/SW swell is around 2 feet, but right now there's no one out as there are no sets to ride.

Good Morning, currently we have high overcast conditions with mild temps and a light off shore breeze. It may burn off later this morning. Warmer weather is predicted for today.

South swell is bringing waves in the knee to waist high range depending on the set. Outside the rock at The Patch has fun rights and lefts with a little push. The Channel looks like it may take shape later today but needs more water to start working. Definitely worth paddling out.

Daily Surf Report - 5/15/2010

We have high overcast conditions with mild temps and no wind. Patches of blue starting to show through and it should burn off later this morning. Warmer weather is predicted for the weekend.

South swell has arrived and is bringing waves in the knee to waist high range depending on the set. Outside the rock at The Patch has about 12 surfers all on longboards and most riding leash-less. Fun rights and lefts with a little push and better than anything in recent memory. The Channel looks like it may take shape later today but needs more water to start working as the tide is currently negative. Worth coming out and putting on a wetsuit and it could get better as the tide and swell fills in throughout the day.

We have fog and overcast conditions with mild temps and no wind. Should burn off later but looks like it will take a few hours. Nice weather is predicted through the weekend.

Surf is still very small breaking about calf high at all spots. The Patch and Channel are the only possibilities and with the low tide it does not look very rideable at the moment. There are 2 guys on SUPs in the Channel working hard to catch waves. Good day to try stand up paddleboarding or take a swim.

We have light overcast with mostly sunny skies and mild temps. No wind and overall a nice morning.

Surf is very small breaking about 1/2 foot at all spots. The Patch and Channel are the only possibilities and with the low tide it does not look very surfable at the moment. Probably a better day to ride a bike, take a hike or work in the garden. Good day to try stand up paddleboarding or take a swim as well.

Good Morning and Happy Mother's Day!
We have partial overcast giving way to mostly blue skies. Sun has just come out and the rain / drizzle has stopped. The winds have died down and the temps are mild.


Surf is smooth but still small. The Patch is knee high at the moment and there are a few longboarders and an SUP out. Definitely a long board day there. There are a few waves breaking at Seadrift and 4 surfers are out there as well.

Good Morning Everyone! We have another beautiful sun-shining day out here in Bolinas. Winds are blowing out of the NW west chopping up the water a bit.


Surf is breaking in the knee high range at the patch. Definitely a long board day there. There are a few waves breaking in the channel and at Seadrift but with the tide going out, that may end.

Its still a great day to come to the beach especially for the kiddies!!

Surf:
Beginning small pulses from the South swell are on the horizon. Long interval lines still producing small surf due to the low tide. Surf is concentrated in the patch with Stand Up Paddleboarders and longboarders catching knee high waves. The Channel and Seadrift are showing signs of life but need more water to be rideable. Great beginner/kid day.
