Daily Surf Report - 8/6/2010

The sun has come out at 1:15pm as predicted!

Fog and drizzle to start the morning. Temps are mild but the wind is not as cooperative today and is lightly onshore causing some ocean texture.

The Channel is the best spot and has waves in the 2' range and thigh high on the Seadrift side of things. There are rights and lefts in the Channel and everyone is on a longboard. There are about 15 surfers in the water. The Patch is smaller with 1-2' waves on the inside at the moment. Far out to the north of the Patch there is a wave breaking but no takers yet. Bring your longest board today.

Tides:
High - 10:42 am 4.3'
Low - 2:38 pm 3.2'
High - 8:51 pm 6.5'
