Daily Surf Report - 6/27/2012

Bolinas is in water conservation mode and neither the beach nor the shop has showers for rinsing. You can now purchase a re-usable 2.5 gallon water heater jug from the shop or bring your own. A great accessory for the traveling surfer.

It's another glorious day here at the beach. It's currently 54 degrees with a golden hue of sunshine bathing the entire beach this morning. Though it's brisk now, fear not as it should once again bump up in temperature and hit somewhere in the 70+ mark today! At the moment there is a little something in the water at the Channel and its marching through the sandbars like Shriners in a parade. There is no wind blowing which means you should bring some Windex because these little waves are glassy. Word for the day; Sun Block.

Channel: A thigh/waist high left, as well as a right is breaking on the middle bar. The tide is going out and that should improve it a bit more. Currently 6 people out with a mix of longboards and SUP's.

Patch: Flat as a pool table and twice as green. We may see some improvement at this location later in the day.

Just a reminder to pack your trash!!! PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.

TIDES:
High: 6:09 am 3.8'
Low: 11:38am 1.3'
High: 6:42pm 5.9'
