“How poor are they that have not patience! What wound did ever heal but by degrees?” -William Shakespeare
Good morning to all of you creatures of the brine! A stellar, amber light is washing over our little, coastal hamlet today without a cloud in the sky or a care in our hearts. The temperature is living up to it's Northern California autumn potential as it's flourishing at a cool 48 degrees. Fear not, as it should warm up throughout the day. There are waves to be had this morning but a huge tide is roiling up, so either paste on the neoprene now and glide or wait until later when the temperature goes up and the tide comes down.
CHANNEL: A waist (+/-) high peak, or perhaps I should say "peaks" are scatter shot like the discharge from a 12 gauge by an angry father on the night of his female progeny's elopement. The Groin Pole, Middle bar, Mail-Bo and Sea Drift are all rolling through with long period waits BUT, none are truly breaking clean. Though a corner can be found here-and-there for the "right place, right time" surfer. Janitor boards, short boards, long boards, foam boards, Chairman of the bored, kooks and weekend warriors alike, come on out and slide along with your thirty (30) or so friends for a Straight-Off, Adolph Saturday.
PATCH: Huge tide = Flat Patch. Maybe later this afternoon? No one here... not even the Pelican.
PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT.
Respect the Beach.
