Daily Surf Report - 12/3/2014

Inspirational crystal quote of the day: "Never confuse movement with action." - Ernest Hemingway
A determined rain continues to fall on our village this morning. With temps hovering near 60, it is tempting to be deceived by the moments of peace and tranquility, but then the 30 MPH onshore winds churn up the spectrum and you are yanked back into a passable reality. Very high tides this morning make for conditions best painted as hostile. Our old friend, the sea, is a churning pit of whitewater and heavy vibes. Also, please note that there is some flooding of  the Olema-Bolinas Road as overnight rains were quite heavy.

CHANNEL:  Though, in theory, the Channel still exists in a three-dimensional sense, it is difficult to verify that fact this morning. The entire area surrounding the groin pole is largely obscured by spray and the sound of wolves at the gate. If any shapes worth sliding are to appear, it would be much later in the day, well past the mid-afternoon low tide.

PATCH:  Though it pains me deeply to be the bearer of such bad tidings, it is just as tumultuous in the patch this morning. Not a seafarer of any kind was viable, as even the wisest of souls is giving a wide berth.
