Inspirational Quote of the Day:
"Small deeds are done better than great deeds planned." - Peter Marshall

Overnight rains just enough to whet the whistle and now yielding to clearing skies and ceased winds.  No bundling today as temp raised to a moderate 54F.  A tamed NW swell in the water along with a steep rising tide allows opportunities for the prudent and wise planner.  Today poses options of too much and far to little if you consult the tea leaves and re-imagine the outside world.

CHANNEL: Early low tide pushing onward and ahead to reach a peak not yet seen this season.  Sand islands make for premature landing zones in the Channel but may generate wave action later in the day.  A flushing reversal will have a steady rip in mind during the PM hours that will provide movement, but not of the breaker kind.

PATCH: Bereft of true swell but able to entice a few determined loggers searching for serenity and periodic slides.  Both can be found in varying amounts with combers of the micro variety and nearly knee high aspirations.
