Daily Surf Report - 5/4/2017

Inspirational Quote of the Day:
"Adopt the pace of nature; her secret is patience." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Haloed in fog we peer through the mist in search of friendly profiles both in and out of the water.  Early expectations run high but present delivery running a bit low.  Budding swells on the near horizon have us ripe with anticipation.  Winds tamped down and heat level diminished yet we start at 52F and should eventually see plenty of sun.  Pull out the bigger log and tune in to the new frequency.

CHANNEL:  Negligible rumblings as the NW swell has not quite filled out its application in entirety.  Early high tide maybe just a tad too much water and now starting to drain and swirl.  Vaporous morning has surfaces burnished smooth and rollers, when they do arrive seek the waist yet fall short.

PATCH:  The desired destination for many toting logs as the morning tides envelops all.  Shrouded and misty just adds to the mystery and intrigue posed by old faces in old places.  Not quite feeling the SW vibrations and the morning window may soon close as the tide retreats.
