Inspirational Quote of the Day:
"Don't be pushed by your problems.  Be led by your dreams." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Chill neck tickles from NE breezes that provide warmth and seek to prime surf.  52F and clear skies signal another beautiful February day.  Combining forces are NW windswell typical of spring and redeeming S swell whose angle is now more consequential.   Tide has peaked earlier and now slowly depletes.  A bit less water not unwelcome today as stunted offerings performing better under less weight.

CHANNEL:  Spray tops from offshore winds though most breakers pushed over to Seadrift or beyond.  Petite peaks popping along with just enough shape to lure those looking.  Sitting in wait on the Channel bar sets, you may be duly rewarded with a waist high roller after a rather long layover period.

PATCH:  Currently the territory of flat water pursuits and paddleboard purists.  Only a short inside wave to keep the mind and body occupied while the heart yearns to attend the outside depths.  Less water may change this tune with the S swell on par to yield opportunities for all as it did yesterday.
