Inspirational Quote of the Day:
"There is a crack in everything.  That is how the light gets in" - Leonard Cohen.

Thick smoke clashing with the marine layer as we continue to send our strength and prayer to our northern friends and family.  With air quality lower than yesterday, the perfume of singe fills the space around us.  We watch as the red sun rises over the hills radiating upon the ocean like a sea of flames. Beautiful luminous colors dance upon the waters surface.  Air temps starting at 52 with promise of warmth taping out at 68 this afternoon.

CHANNEL:  Calm cool and collected.  Fishing boats coming and going are the only ones gliding through the channels current of the diminishing NW swell.  Rumors of S swell murmur on the horizon.  Small shin motions resembling waves slowly turn and churn forward.

PATCH:  One lone disciple searching out their morning baptism.  Like arriving early to a surprise birthday party, while the distinguished guest is fashionably late to arrive.  You wait and wait, until finally the party begins.  Celebrating like a twirling dervish on thigh high rides.
