Inspirational Quote of the Day:
"Just ‘cause you put syrup on something doesn’t make it pancakes.” - Samuel L. Jackson

Early morning drum beats echoing off thick gray overlay as a sharp whistle kicks in. Rise and shine for those without warning on Taco Tuesday. A cool 54 to start the dance with layers peeling off by mid-day. Hopeful south swell searchers make their way in town with fingers and toes crossed that it’s not to late. With open parking, hearts start racing walking through the gates for all eyes to see. Gazing out beyond the salty sand, an old familiar sight to see.

CHANNEL:  SSW swell barely showing with a cold NW wind swell in full effect. Cold water temperatures at 52 makes for a chilly entry if there were any takers. Set waves turning over in the thigh height and quickly diminish into nothing. Currently three seals out catching salmon and chowing down.

PATCH:  Long conversations taking place on the sea wall for the first time ever without paddling out. Discussions on the meaning of life in chapters; when one stops another adventure begins. Dibs on the gas grill!
