Inspirational Quote of the Day:
"Mighty things from small beginnings grow." - John Dryden

As we greet the new week we must contend and remain content with what the morning offers.  The day above is full of clarity and blue beauty while below the waters recede and degenerate before our eyes.  Another cycle of negative morning tides has early risers dismayed by the displays.  With only a stout NW windswell as our primary pump and a reduced playing field, the opportunities are limited but not without merit.

CHANNEL:  Again one must drift and shift their sight and self in order to find the nourishment to exist.  Seeking the deeper waters within the Channel and along the Seadrift corridor will yield some of what you are looking for, but not all.  The tide return will not resolve itself until early afternoon so get what you can when you can.  Please sir, I want some more.

PATCH:  Still draining but maintaining a flatter countenance than one would hope for.  Burnished bronze by the sun above and silky smooth with no winds.  Canoes, kayaks, SUPs and swimmers are more than welcome to partake.  With no S swell in the pot loggers are left wanting.
