Daily Surf Report - 1/7/2019

Inspirational Quote of the Day:
“Great things happen when you have the courage to be yourself.” - Michael Sam

Light gray with a silver blue lining and no wind in sight. A new beginning and a fresh start to the first week back to the daily grind in 2019. Feeling the hustle and bustle of morning commuters, school goers line up for bus pickups with joyful parents in tow. Those with resolutions of salty rides, swim against the current. Finding parking with ease could be a sign of what lies beyond the ramp. Only those who commit to the journey will know with certainty.

CHANNEL:  Rough conditions from stormy leftovers and plenty of debris swimming in white water. W swell visible in form of mass confusion, with no peaks or valleys. Still blown out from yesterdays wind, this is the calm before tomorrow’s storm. Best to ride out today on shore and see what comes tomorrow.

PATCH:  Today is a perfect day to dry out those boards, chip away at the layers of wax built up from past sessions and lay a new foundation of intent. Align crystals for maximum power and strength.
