In town strong NE winds sweep the streets and make it clean, just as we hope the new year will be. Numb toes and fingers pry and tear at frozen wetsuits in hopes to escape, but to no avail. Remnants of swell barely lingers and anything close is pushed down by the wind. It’s the last day of the year, what will you choose to do?
CHANNEL: Many have ventured, almost all to return windslapped and frozen. Almost thigh high but lasts for only a moment. Hold on tight or you’ll get blown right over the top.
PATCH: Currently pond-like with the high tide. Wait for water levels to drop and the wind to stop.
