Inspirational Quote of the Day:
“Always be a little unexpected.” - Oscar Wilde

Sunbeams lemon yellow, crest over hilltops casting warm morning shadows as village critters scatter with delight upon entrance of the golden hue. A strong breeze floats on by, dancing with runaway hair tucked loosely into flannel buttoned up halfway. Traveling homes have gone else where leaving open spaces and places to breathe deep. Thermometer readings beginning at 53 and climbing to 64, the usual summertime math. A settled calm, after a week long frenzy of visitor crowding and celebration, has returned and it’s business as usual for those who are rooted.

CHANNEL: West winds ruffling the surface creating spray off the back. Strong churning motion in Channel proper at mid-tide with white water soup to shore. NW and SW swell at odds with each other with waves circling in knee height on the outside. Afternoon windows may be the best opportunity for those with salty cravings.

PATCH: Far outside, squinting to see, as we look below our knees. Three is the magic number as we sit and wait, and wait some-more.
