Peasouper haze inching low concealing morning sun salutations as dawn breaks a new day. Eerie and still, not a breath of wind penetrates statuesque tree leaves dangling high. Packed in, sitting and waiting, like a cloud of disappointment, the fog is thick and the swell is still. Suited and booted, the mindset is re-calibrated while taking forward steps to sea.
CHANNEL: Foggy silhouettes sprinkle the horizon, counting to 20 before movement can be seen. The waiting room is full and the numbers are slow to be called for the next customer.
