Daily Surf Report - 5/29/2017

Inspirational Quote of the Day:
"Every day holds the possibility of a miracle." - Elizabeth David

Cooling fog to soothe and tamp down the winds.  Keeping the morning steady and ready at 54F with light E winds and a smoothed out ocean.  NW windswell doubles down and refortifies while the SW swell continues to show a long period with a smaller height.  Get in early or while you can as tides again swing low - low and the town is rapidly reaching capacity and getting ready to kick out the jams MF-ers.

CHANNEL:  Approachable in the the early light and dropping tide as the water levels remain above the grade for now.  Little spinner lefts off the Groin bar starting to mix with the outgoing rip and froth.  Over at Seadrift one can see some offshore spray and hear faint hoots that vanish like ghosts in the swirling mists.  Might be worth a look with new NW windswell in play.

PATCH:  Revitalized SW swell revealing just enough of itself to beguile loggers with tip time intentions.  Boneyards not completely out of the question with a slight watery blanket covering.  Shifting paradigms soon to occur as the tide continues to fall.  If winds stay silent regroup and hit it again in the afternoon.
