Over night campers holding on tight to the last final moments of summertime bliss, sparsely fill the void of open spaces. For most, lists of to-do’s a priority, pointing in a hilly direction. Familiar faces gather to the wall searching for salty answers catching up from days past, while tiny rollers sparkle under sunlight rays uncrowded and unbroken. The choice is made and intentions are set, no place we’d rather be on a Monday.
CHANNEL: SW has rode off into last nights sunset as a new small NW is creeping in. Waves slowly moving in a forward ankle height direction with one lone stand up paddler in place. Pelicans settle on the still surface in Channel proper searching for fish movements below. A paddle day on a Monday.
PATCH: Sandcastle making and crystal clearing marks today’s objectives. Measure twice and cut once, mapping out the moats and pillars. Scoops and pails on the ready with crystal toppers securely tucked in deep pockets. Digging deep basking in the sunshine, a perfect beach day activity.
