Thick layered gray has returned from beyond and cold humidity is rising. Pre-storm dawn breaks way to dampened earth and swollen streams with echoes of sheep whispers filling the void. A telltale sign of what is to come by afternoon. Balmy temps starting at 42 as barometers work overtime feeling the pressure. Plodding on to where the sand meets the sea, feeling the solitude from empty spaces around, wondering if the time is now.
CHANNEL: Forceful wind playing games with the oceans surface as seals duck dive for breakfast. W swell still primary yet not showing well. Too much texture and not enough push is not the recipe which good surf is made of. No real wave form with white water rolling in at ankle height. Best to call it a day and seek other options for exercise.
