Inspirational Quote of the Day:
“You never know how strong you are, until being strong is your only choice.” - Bob Marley

Coastal clouds and tepid at 49F. Calm with lack of wind in the early light. The mercury will rise while tides remain in flux as lack of current volume has decimated all but the most stubborn shapes. The lineup is thin in number and heavy on board size whether swinging arms or paddle with clear intent. Projected swells still days off with only mid period offerings largely from the W in play. There will be a window providing views of potential stoke but it may be fleeting or entirely illusory.

CHANNEL: Early low tide vectors have aspirations in check though a small and shapely spinner left is the draw. A right beckons on the far side of nothing and those with time to kill and one eye over the hill are extracting slides from the blue. Loggers win the day as energy and size remain marginal at best.

PATCH: Pelicans, gulls and pinnipeds patrol relatively calm waters for brunch. Even those of the paddle tribe have largely struck out though small crests of whitewater do appear at random. Give in to reality, but never give up.
