Daily Surf Report - 8/7/2014

Inspirational crystal quote of the day:
"Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity". - Seneca: Roman Statesman

No sun and foggy morning.  Light mist and humid at 62F.  No wind and glassy ocean beckons.  On tap is a little SW swell mixing in with our usual NW windswell but combo-ing up to deliver rideable surf this morning.  Small stuff but great for longboards, beginners, surf campers and amateurs as well.  Summer crowds pack the parking spaces and the usual suspects are out in full force as well.  Expect sun later and waves for the day as tide conditions are favorable.

CHANNEL:  Small waves in the thigh high size but clean lefts off the Groin and rights in the Channel and over at Seadrift.  Incoming tide lending a helping hand and the crowd factor numbers 10+ early risers.  Catch the commuter bus with Andre and find your way to the Mali-Bo neighborhood.  Find a wave to your liking and ride it full throttle.  Hike the afternoon away then repeat again tomorrow.  What could be better?

PATCH:   Feeling a touch of the S swell this morning and more water helps out.  Surf is clean and small with consistent rights that push knee high.  A few Logjammers are on it and the single-fin crew will tip toe through the tulips here today.  If the S fills in this should be a consistent spot to surf.
