Daily Surf Report - 1/1/2015

Inspirational Crystal Quote Of The Day:
"Another fresh new year is here . . .
Another year to live!
To banish worry, doubt, and fear,
To love and laugh and give!" - William Arthur Ward

New Day / New Year with endless opportunities and a fresh start.  Take advantage of every moment and strive to achieve.  Resolve to make a difference and see the world with new light and vision.  A crisp, bright and chipper chill morning rings in 2015.  Sunny and magnificent with early temps at 36F and very light S winds.  The buoys read like a bad novel with little to report and less to ride upon.  Pelicans and dolphins dominate the ocean as smoothness rules the day.  A walk on the beach with Corgis will be productive but wave sliding not so much.  Hold out hope as the year is just beginning and is a marathon rather than a sprint.

CHANNEL:  Beautiful viewing of sunshine over the Marin hills and radiating off the ocean surface.  Ring in the new year at the beach but find pursuits worth undertaking as the surf may not be cooperative.  A festive morning to smell the salt air and dip one's toes but waves size is slappy at less than 1 foot in maximum height.

PATCH:  Hear the sound of no waves breaking as the Patch does not rear up or deliver us any gifts.  A myopic view of flat surfaces are to be witnessed but not entered as today holds no promise of wave slides or rides.
